Project
Developing Inorganic Monolithic Photosupercapacitors and Photobatteries
The goal of my thesis is to develop and characterize inorganic SolStore devices that enable the harvesting and storing of solar energy within a single device, thus allowing the autonomous operation of small electrical consumers. For this purpose, perovskite-silicon multijunction solar cells are combined with supercapacitors and batteries in a three-electrode configuration. My work focuses on the optimization of the inorganic photovoltaic cell (high output voltage and good long-term stability) and the smooth integration with the electrochemical storage unit.
