Project
Interfaces, charge-transfer and non-adiabatic processes and their exploitation in a frequency-tunable tribogenerator
I investigate basic mechanisms of energy harvesting technology systems, such as tribogenerators and batteries. I develop and use numerical simulations on various scales (density functional theory and molecular dynamics) to study charge transfer over complex interfaces, triboelectricity and interfaces between metals and polymers.
