Projects

(Photo)electrochemical production of H2O2 for H2O2-fueled adaptive processes i.e. H2O2-fueled chemistry and demonstratory (H2O2-Synthesis)
As a Postdoctoral researcher in the livMatS cluster, my research focuses on (photo)electrochemical production of hydrogen peroxide (H2O2). H2O2 has a wide range of applications in industries such as paper bleaching, chemical synthesis, water treatment, and healthcare. However, current industrial methods for producing H2O2 are highly energy-intensive and result in significant waste emissions. My goal in this project is to develop efficient (photo)electrodes and electrocatalysts for (photo)electrochemical H2O2 synthesis devices, enabling decentralized and sustainable production of H2O2 using only water, oxygen, and sunlight.
